Your ship is your mode of transportation as well as your hotel, and provides most meals... all for one price. This  can also include airfare depending on the cruise company.

In many cases, when the ship pulls into a city you are within walking distance to the city centre, and if not the cruise company will often provide local transportation from the boat to the center of town.

Cabins are small, typically 160 square feet with shower, and most with outside views. Even the economy cabins typically include outside views. In many cases the cabins have a TV and satellite programming featuring movies.

Cuisine typically features dishes local to the specific country you are traveling through during meal hours. In some cases, wine is included at no additional charge with dinner.
